Job summary

Firefly Aerospace seeks interns to support engineering teams in Texas as part of year-round opportunities. You will help advance manufacturing of rocket hardware, from material systems and cure processes to tooling and production methods, in a hands-on, collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS or MS in engineering, comfortable working with hand tools, and skilled in communication and prioritization. This internship emphasizes creativity and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program (or a recent graduate) at an accredited four-year university or college.
• Willing to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
• Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing
• Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Comfortable with the use of hand tools
• Passion for Advanced Manufacturing technologies and applications
• Experience with CAD Software such as NX
• Candidates should preferably have a focus in aerospace structural engineering and/or composites

• Drive projects to improve cost and cycle times
