Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to support the development and operations of the New Glenn rocket, focusing on structural hardware design and production. The ideal candidate should possess a B.S. degree in engineering with over 3 years of relevant experience in the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Fundamentals in mechanics of materials, stress/strain, statics, and finite element analysis.
• Experience on recently developed vehicles: vehicle load path distribution, first‑order strength assessment, sizing.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of metallic and composite structural component design.
• Oversee fabrication, procure components and materials, lead vendor performance.
• Create and modify drawings, specifications, and documentation.
