This role focuses on materials testing, structural analysis, and test and evaluation activities to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Ideal candidates will have experience in structural and mechanical testing, CAD design with CATIA or SolidWorks, and pneumatic systems within an engineering or aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's with related engineering experience.
• Typically 2+ years engineering experience, or a Master's with related engineering experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural design, structural analysis, and/or structural or mechanical testing.
• Experience developing and executing engineering test plans and procedures.
• Experience with pneumatic system design, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficiency with CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience performing structural analysis using engineering principles and hand calculations.
• Experience reviewing, validating, and documenting engineering test data and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, procedures, and test equipment to verify compliance with requirements.
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain structural and mechanical test systems for lab and production testing.
• Execute structural and materials testing using electromechanical and computer-controlled test equipment.
• Review, validate, and analyze test data for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and publish technical test reports documenting procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new testing technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
• Design test hardware, fixtures, and supporting equipment for testing applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to implement effective test solutions.
• Manage multiple testing activities and priorities while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Take ownership of projects from planning through execution and final reporting.
