Job summary

Boeing Commercial Engineering offers internship opportunities across structural analysis, product design, sustaining engineering, test, and materials/process support. Interns work alongside experienced engineers supporting the design, analysis, certification, production, and in-service support of commercial aerostructures.

Assignments may support programs such as 737, 777X, 787, propulsion structures, and emerging development programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Able to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• Passion for the aerospace industry and Boeing career.
• Academic excellence GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Majoring in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Structural, Materials or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis using analytical methods and FEM.
• Aircraft structural design, configuration, definition, and drawing/model development.
• Sustaining and fleet-support engineering, repair development and certification support.
• Materials and process engineering support for production and supply chain issues.
