Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Consultant 2 to lead aero-structure analysis, design collaboration, and validation activities. The role focuses on translating requirements into specifications, contributing to iterative design cycles, and ensuring robust engineering solutions through simulations and testing.

You will work with Nastran, Patran, FEMAP, CATIA V5 and Enovia, collaborating across client teams to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Perform static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for aero structures.
• Use classical hand calculations to analyze primary and secondary structures.
• Experience with metallic and composite structures/components.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements for the team.
• Participate in design meetings and support development of design sketches and models.
• Develop and refine solution specifications with simulations to meet design criteria.
• Build prototypes and coordinate feedback with cross-functional teams.
• Undertake technical integration and resolve interoperability issues.
