Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet recently opened a state-of-the-art flagship MRO facility at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, Florida. The Staff Accountant will support journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, and internal controls within a regulated aerospace environment.

This role collaborates with finance, tax, accounts payable and business partners to improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting, participating in month-end closes and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Excel proficiency and data analysis skills, with knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
• Perform month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze monthly results.
• Coordinate with finance, tax, accounts payable, and business partners.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Support internal controls, audits, and policy adherence.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
