Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform journal entries, reconciliations and financial analysis in a fast-paced aerospace environment at our Melbourne, FL facility.

The role supports monthly close, internal controls and audits, collaborates with business partners to improve accuracy and timeliness of accounting processes, and participates in process improvements and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, including journal entry prep and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good planning, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly financial statements prep and review.
• Perform month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly analyses; research reconciliation differences.
• Coordinate with finance, tax, accounts payable and other partners.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Support internal controls, audits, and adherence to policies in aerospace environment.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
