Job summary

Sapsol is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer (SQA) for the MV 75 Program in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires onsite presence and citizenship or GC status with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Aerospace/CS/SE/EE).
7+ years of professional engineering experience in SQA for aerospace/defense.
Deep expertise in DO-178C and DO-330; tool qualification under DO-330.

Responsibilities

Conduct software and hardware process audits in compliance with DO-178C and DO-330.
Oversee embedded aviation systems development lifecycles for safety-critical baselines.
Review software requirements, designs, code, and verification procedures.
Support tool qualification activities and verification under DO-330 guidelines.
Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and program managers in Fort Worth, TX.
Track quality metrics, defect trends, and CARs using defect-tracking tools.
Interface with customers, airworthiness authorities, and certification auditors.
Ensure DO-254 hardware life-cycle data assurance where applicable.
Maintain QA records, checklists, and certification artifacts.
Participate in PDR, CDR, TRR reviews for safety and verification readiness.
