Cyient Limited in Windsor, CT is seeking an experienced Source Inspector with aerospace supplier quality expertise. The role focuses on performing source inspections at supplier facilities to ensure material, process, and dimensional requirements are met, supporting supplier performance improvement and internal leadership reporting.

Key duties include coordinating SRIs and QNs, generating monthly supplier scorecards, and partnering with suppliers to drive corrective actions and performance

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of material certifications, process specifications, dimensional inspection requirements, and aerospace documentation standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Experience processing supplier nonconformances (QNs, SRIs) and leading supplier corrective action initiatives.
• Solid understanding of supplier performance metrics and scorecarding.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with suppliers and internal leadership.

Responsabilités

• Conduct source inspections at supplier facilities, ensuring all material and process certifications are complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Verify dimensional inspections are performed and recorded per current standards (e.g., GSS2188).
• Process SRIs and QNs as they are received.
• Generate monthly supplier scorecards capturing on-time delivery, quality defects, escapes, and performance trends.
• Partner with suppliers to identify underperformance and develop improvement plans; track progress to closure.
• Prepare monthly supplier performance summaries for leadership.
• Support onsite quality and delivery issue resolution.
• Assist in evaluating and updating quality standards to align with requirements.
• Contribute to developing standards for drop-shipment processes and Delegated Quality Representative (DQR) vendor requirements.
