Job summary

Quality Inspector - Aerospace Source Inspection: Newark, NJ. In this role, the Quality Inspector will perform source inspections at supplier manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with customer, contractual, and quality system requirements for aerospace and electronic components.

This field-based position requires independent travel to supplier locations throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years aerospace/quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; GD&T knowledge.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally for supplier inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct source inspections at supplier facilities.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, PO requirements, and GD&T.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and documentation inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records; communicate issues to stakeholders.
