Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an aerospace software verification specialist to draft and execute automated test scripts in C#, MATLAB/Simulink, and DOORS-driven workflows. You will verify safety-critical software in SIL/HIL environments, analyze results, and document discrepancies with Azure DevOps.

Collaborating with software teams, you will maintain traceability, support evolving builds, and ensure complete verification coverage in a regulated development setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical field.
• Five 5+ years of experience performing requirements-based software verification and validation within structured or regulated development environments.
• Experience supporting safety-critical software programs operating under DO-178B/C or equivalent standards.
• Extensive experience developing and executing requirements-based test cases from system and high-level software requirements.
• Experience in SIL, HIL, or integration lab environments supporting verification, regression testing, and anomaly resolution.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink and/or MathWorks verification toolsets.
• Experience utilizing DOORS, Git, Dimensions, ADO in controlled engineering workflows.
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and ensure complete verification coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for high-assurance software.
• Analyze test results, time histories, and anomalies to ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with Software Development to align with evolving builds and requirements.
• Document discrepancies, test findings, and resolutions in Azure DevOps.
• Update DOORs traceability and maintain artifacts in the repository.
• Perform test in SIL/HIL environments and support integration testing.
• Draft procedures and high-level verification plans consistent with DO-178B/C.
