Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks multiple Software Verification Engineers to support the development and testing of aerospace display and touchscreen systems. This role emphasizes C++ development and DO-178 compliance for safety-critical avionics software.

You will develop and execute software test cases and verification procedures, perform DO-178 verification, analyze results, document defects, and collaborate with software, systems engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on C++ development experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with DO-178 (DO-178B or DO-178C).
Experience writing software test cases and verification procedures.
Understanding of software verification and validation (V&V) processes.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support software development, verification, and validation activities for aerospace display and touchscreen systems.
Develop and execute software test cases and test procedures.
Perform software verification in accordance with DO-178 standards.
Analyze test results, document defects, and support issue resolution.
Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and quality teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Participate in software reviews, inspections, and certification activities.
