Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a SOC Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to security activity across endpoints, identity, cloud services, networks, and mission-support environments.

You will work with alerts, logs, vulnerabilities, and investigations to determine what happened and what comes next. Requirements include Active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, 2+ years in a SOC or related role, and hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR, Windows and Linux, and cloud logging.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC, incident response or related cybersecurity role.
• Experience investigating events using SIEM/EDR, cloud, or network telemetry.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, authentication, and cloud logging.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across endpoints, cloud, and networks.
• Investigate suspicious logins, phishing emails, and privilege changes.
• Escalate incidents by severity and impact on CUI.
• Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Network teams on findings.
• Document incidents and resolutions; maintain logging reviews and evidence.
