Job summary

CAE, one of the world’s leading aviation training providers, seeks a Simulator Technician in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform preventative maintenance on simulators and related systems, diagnose routine issues, and support logistics and administrative tasks.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to keeping simulators mission-ready. The role involves training, some travel, and opportunities to represent CAE at external events while maintaining top-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent training is required.
• 1 year of simulator experience in Electronics/avionics, automated systems, or computer networking repair is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics.
• Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
• Basic skills in operating test equipment and soldering.
• Some knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on simulators and related systems.
• Diagnose and correct routine problems on simulators.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on designated simulators.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Provide customer service support and logistics coordination.
