Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. invites you to join as a Simulation Software Engineering intern in Los Angeles. You will work with the engineering team on satellite bus simulation platforms and gain hands-on experience in SITL/HITL, 6DOF, and software-in-the-loop testing to advance reliability and efficiency.

The 12-week program pairs you with a mentor, includes learning sessions, and exposes you to aerospace industry professionals through community events.

Qualifications

• Graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with modeling and embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop closed-loop spacecraft test platforms (6DOF SITL/HITL).
• Validate performance, functionality, and reliability of satellite systems.
• Work with mentors and participate in learning sessions.
