Ducommun Incorporated is seeking a General Helper to assist shop personnel with a variety of support tasks in Orange, CA. Under direct supervision, you will help with loading/unloading, transporting parts, and assisting with routine shop processes and cleaning duties to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires basic reading of instructions, good communication, and the ability to follow simple procedures. A High School Diploma or GED is required; competitive hourly pay applies.

Qualifications

• Reads traveler or work instructions and MSD sheets.
• Communicates information one-on-one with team members.
• Under supervision, follows simple instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in conducting shop processes.
• Load and unload materials, parts, or products.
• Transport parts to designated work areas for processing.
• Assist with racking, washing, masking, drilling, and setup tasks.
• Support shop personnel and move materials as needed.
• Operate hand tools and handling equipment as instructed.
• Read work instructions to aid operations.
• Assist with housekeeping and cleanup operations.
• Handle and manage hazardous waste safely.
