Job summary

Kratos Defense is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Team Member in Auburn Hills, MI. This role ensures inbound and outbound material flow is accurate, traced, and compliant with aerospace/defense regulations.

You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Program teams to maintain documentation and process integrity. Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, and routing material, executing ERP/MRP transactions, and preparing shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or related.
• Experience with ERP/MRP transactions for receiving, inventory, and shipping preferred.
• Costpoint experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment with certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, count, label, and route incoming material.
• Verify material against POs, packing lists, and documentation.
• Maintain traceability and proper material segregation.
• Execute ERP/MRP transactions accurately.
• Prepare and support packing lists, shipping labels, and related documents.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and international shipments as needed.
• Support inventory control, kitting, and production scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 6S, and ITAR/DFARS requirements.
