Job summary

Sabrin Corporation in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Quality Shipping & Receiving Inspector to handle incoming and outgoing parts and coordinate with outside vendors. The role ensures components meet visual and handling requirements before shipment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and understands the importance of protecting aerospace hardware and quality throughout the shipping and receiving process. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or inspection in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Able to interpret blueprints for processes and tolerances.
• Familiarity with proper packaging methods for precision/aerospace components.
• Ability to identify cosmetic and surface defects on machined parts.
• Basic computer skills (shipping software, email, paperwork).
• Experience with using CNC machines would be advantageous.
• General understanding of machining processes and parts also advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift light items and be on your feet as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts from vendors and outside processing houses such as heat treaters and plating houses.
• Perform visual inspections on incoming and outgoing parts to identify defects.
• Verify paperwork and traveler requirements.
• Package aerospace components to prevent damage during shipment.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate pickups (UPS or FedEx).
• Maintain clean and organized shipping/receiving areas.
• Light local driving as needed.
• Light lifting required.
