Northrop Grumman is seeking Sheetmetal Fabricators Level 2 or 3 to support various programs in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The role involves using fabrication tools, reading blueprints, and operating equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Level 3 requires a minimum of 4 years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to wear a respirator and rotate/work shifts.
• Follow written, electronic and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Use fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to compute dimensions of work.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and work instructions (written and verbal).
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shear, sheet metal brake, rollers, grinders, and presses.
• Learn and perform other job functions with on-the-job training.
• Think through problems with forming using mechanical aptitude.
