Job summary
Hadrian, a leader in autonomous manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Sheet Metal, onsite in Torrance, CA. You will develop and optimize sheet metal processes for aerospace/defense components, including forming, cutting, bending, and assembly operations.
You will collaborate with design and production teams to drive safety, quality, throughput, and cost improvements. You will analyze production data, troubleshoot floor issues, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Breadth in sheet metal fabrication for aerospace applications.
- Experience interpreting drawings and GD&T; cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and manufacturing planning software.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and safety emphasis.
- Punch-Laser Combo experience is a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Create and update process documentation for sheet metal workflows.
- Specify tooling and fixturing for production lines.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, throughput, and cost.
- Analyze production data and troubleshoot floor issues.
- Coordinate with robotics, automation, and software teams to integrate advanced manufacturing.
