Job summary

Hadrian is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to drive robust production support and scale manufacturing processes for aerospace-grade systems. You will integrate customer expectations into factory capabilities, support transition from low-rate to high-volume production, and champion automation and software improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field and 5 years of engineering experience in a production environment.
• In lieu of a degree, 5–6+ years of experience in a high-intensity production environment.
• Familiarity with machining operations and tight tolerances, especially in aerospace manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, to enhance production capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to paperwork and customer quality/compliance requirements.
• Onboard new customers and align factory capabilities with expectations.
• Prioritize and triage during peak production to maintain workflow.
• Own defect disposition and root-cause analysis to improve yield and reduce rework.
• Lead transition from low-rate to high-volume manufacturing, implementing process and infra changes.
• Onboard automated assets and collaborate with software to improve manufacturing software.
• Adapt shop floor to high-volume needs; implement wash stations and insert-install workstations.
• Create production processes in unstructured areas of our ops system.
