Job summary

Harlow Aerostructures LLC in Wichita, KS, is seeking skilled assembler to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will align subassemblies, drill, trim, file parts and install components in main structures according to blueprints and work orders.

This role requires ability to read blueprints, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain high attendance. Prior sheet metal assembly experience is preferred; you will work with hand and power tools to assemble wing structures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Able to lift, squat and bend with up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.
• Trim and file parts to fit and verify tolerances.
• Drill, ream, countersink holes and fasten subassemblies with hand/power tools.
• Install parts in main structures and assist wing assembly builds.
• Locate drill holes using jigs, templates and measuring instruments.
• Perform other duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.
