Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join its team in CHELMSFORD, MA as a Security Officer. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, and deliver professional service while supporting aerospace and defense operations.

Position is full-time with a schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pay rate of $24.69 per hour. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and compliance with security policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders as needed.
