Job summary

RTX in Oklahoma City seeks a Sustainment Engineering Specialist to support military engine programs, integrate SE repair engineering with warehouse support, and manage container lifecycles. You will identify improvements, inspect assets, verify parts, and coordinate with engineering, PHS&T, and vendors.

Role requires travel up to 10%, a technical engineering background, and experience with military programs. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Technical understanding of support equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul.
• Ability to complete minor repairs of SE assets.
• Direct experience supporting military programs/customers.

Responsibilities

• Support Military Engine Programs including F135, F119 and F117 as a Sustainment Engineering Specialist.
• Integrate SE repair engineering, warehouse technical support, and container lifecycle management into a single function.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment serviceability, perform inspections and repairs with engineering and vendors.
• Perform inspections, dispositions, and serviceability assessments for SE assets.
• Determine repair requirements, verify part numbers, and perform minor repairs.
• Ensure conformance to CES and communicate updates to the fleet management team.
• Document container inspection results through reports and photographs for compliance.
• Collaborate on new container development and process improvements for SE tooling and warehouse workflows.
• Collect data to support continuous improvement of SE design and operations.
