Blue Origin is seeking skilled welders to support robotic welding for the New Glenn rocket and related aerospace components. You will join a team of technicians and engineers delivering high-precision welds and assemblies across multiple welding processes.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments, the ability to read drawings, and the discipline to maintain 5S and safety standards. Relocation may be provided, and various shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, integration, or a related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs and test procedures.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and adaptability.
• Metallurgical knowledge is preferred.
• Expert hand tool fabrication and use.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic weld systems.
• Perform manual blending across 2G, 5G, 6G positions.
• Drill precisely per engineering drawings for internal tank installations.
• Set up new production work areas with layouts, tooling, and equipment.
• Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair discrepancies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Use precision tools like torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, optics.
• Maintain 5S, FOD, and safety in daily routines.
• Carry out other duties to support the mission.
