Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a Research Engineer (Engineer II) in Hawthorne, California. The successful candidate will execute various specialized technical research and development activities, including data analysis, model development, and designing software tools.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package along with a targeted compensation between $85,000 and $100,000, inclusive of base pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in the aerospace industry required.
• UAS / UAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute specialized research and development activities.
• Develop Matlab/C/C++ based tools for flight test and aircraft certification.
• Assist in training less experienced staff.
