Job summary

Urban Sky is seeking a Quality, Test, and Refurbishment Technician to join the Safety, Quality, Safety, & Mission Assurance team in Denver. This hands-on role involves inspecting soft goods and hard goods, documenting nonconformances, and working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in aerospace quality control, is detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to projects impacting the future of stratospheric technology.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a quality or test technician role in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with quality inspection and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Strong communication skills to write clear work instructions and inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of soft goods and hard goods against quality criteria.
• Document nonconforming materials and maintain quality records.
• Author and maintain quality work instructions and manage document revisions.
• Support internal audits and maintain quality management systems.
