Job summary

Beehive Industries is a leader in jet propulsion additive manufacturing for defense. The Senior Quality Technician ensures stringent inspection processes, data capture, and document control to meet AS9100, AS9102, and ITAR standards.

You will program and run CMM inspections, interpret GD&T from drawings, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues and maintain QMS records. U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a quality role in ISO 9001 manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace, medical devices, or automotive sectors.
• Experience writing programs and operating CMM.
• Proficient with GD&T reading, writing and interpretation.
• Drawing interpretation background and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment (pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gage, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM, GOM scanner).
• Measure components and compare results to Engineering drawings with GD&T and industry spec controls.
• Create, develop, and implement inspection processes based on customer specifications.
• Create and run part measurement programs using tooling software such as PC DMIS or Calypso.
• Collaborate with Quality & Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues found during product realization.
• Assist with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) such as calibration records, KPI tracking, and document control.
• Create inspection documentation and collect/verify data for data packets or CoC packets.
• Identify and record non-conformances using various software; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Use CAD models for programming inspection.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
