Job summary

voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation in Shelbyville, KY, is seeking a Quality Technician for the Aerospace division on 2nd shift to help ensure conformance with customer requirements and government specs.

You will inspect materials, components and finished products, use digital calipers and micrometers, and participate in problem-solving teams while maintaining quality records. A high school diploma and metals/manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing software.
• Quality experience in metals/manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect material, components, finished products and WIP to conformance with customer requirements and government specs.
• Use digital calipers and micrometers for measurements and inspections.
• Participate on problem-solving teams and CI initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of quality records systems and document data.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
