Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Quality Production Specialist in North Carolina to support Boeing Global Services. Qualifications

  • 3+ years in quality assurance.
  • 1+ years reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • 3+ years detecting hazardous working conditions and safety problems via regular checks of equipment and work area.
  • 3+ years in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes.
  • 1+ years of experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment.
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to quality management system requirements.
  • Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Trains and mentors fellow employees in the quality management system.
  • Performs root cause analysis on nonconformance to identify cause and prevent recurrence.
  • Develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution and implement corrective/preventive action.
