Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality assurance.
• 1+ years' ability to read, understand, and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• 3+ years' experience detecting hazardous working conditions via regular checks of equipment and work area.
• 3+ years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.
• 1+ years of experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment with weight limitations.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
• Performs analysis to identify and evaluate quality of products, operations and processes against QMS requirements and government regulations.
• Applies aerospace design knowledge to perform failure and forensic analysis of components and systems.
• Trains and mentors colleagues in the Quality Management System.
• Performs root cause analysis on nonconformance to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution and implement corrective/preventive action.
