Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking a Quality Systems and Process Improvement Engineer to strengthen our commitment to excellence in aerospace and defense manufacturing. You will analyze current processes, identify improvements, and guide implementation to ensure QMS compliance.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Process Engineering, you will lead audits, CAPA, GAP analyses, and training, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and ERP/MRP concepts to reduce costs and boost product

Qualifications

BS/MS in science or engineering with 5+ years in aerospace/defense.
Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
ERP/MRP system knowledge and PMO/FMO concepts.
AS9100 Rev D knowledge and internal auditing experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate current business processes; identify improvements.
Diagnose problems and design action plans to redesign and monitor processes.
Provide guidance on quality standards and government regulations.
Lead internal AS9100 audits and support supplier/customer audits.
Oversee NCR/CAPA processing to ensure timely closure and recurrence control.
Prepare GAP analyses; apply Lean, Six Sigma, and process variation tools; train staff.
