Job summary

Eravant (Formerly SAGE Millimeter) is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering leader in Torrance, CA to drive AS9100 audit readiness and ongoing QMS compliance. You will supervise QA/QC inspectors, review NCRs, and coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to resolve complex quality issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in aerospace or precision manufacturing, with strong MS Office and ERP/QMS documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace, electronics, precision manufacturing, or quality engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading AS9100 audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation for AS9100 audits and support ongoing QMS compliance.
• Supervise and mentor QA/QC inspectors.
• Review inspection results, NCRs, and corrective actions for effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to resolve quality issues.
• Support customer and supplier quality requirements, including documentation and issue resolution.
• Maintain and improve quality system documentation within ERP/QMS tools.
• Manage vendor and customer quality issues including RMA and corrective action processes.
• Establish and maintain procedures for nonconformance control and corrective action response.
• Analyze inspection failures and implement actions to reduce recurrence.
• Provide guidance to operations on quality requirements and containment actions.
