Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Quality Specialist to join the Quality Assurance team, providing technical support to Engineering, Quality, and Estimating functions. You will guide CMS inspection processes, review DPD/MBD data, and support engineering drawings and documentation for aerospace programs.

Applicants should have extensive CAD/CATIA experience, GD&T expertise per ASME Y14.5, and a track record with CMS equipment and FAI processes.

Qualifications

• College-level technical training or vocational/technical training or relevant professional certification.
• 10+ years of aerospace quality, inspection, CAD, metrology or related experience preferred in lieu of formal education.
• Strong CAD modeling and data interpretation skills required.
• Experience with GD&T ASME Y14.5 and CMS equipment and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring for CMS inspection processes and personnel.
• Support Boeing D6-51991 DPD/MBD requirements and related ASME Y14.5 GD&T applications.
• Train personnel on CMS equipment, inspection techniques, and inspection programming.
• Create, review, verify, and maintain CMS inspection programs.
• Review CAD models against engineering drawings to ensure conformance with design requirements.
• Support FAI processes and provide training across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Estimating teams.
