Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality performance at our St. Paul and Des Moines laboratories. You will own the QMS, prime customer approvals, and testing compliance, driving First Time Right performance and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Aerospace Primes and customers to ensure regulatory and contractual obligations are met. The role requires leading audits, managing NCRs, and maintaining eQMS.n Nadcap platforms, with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline; 5+ years in materials testing, aerospace, or regulated tech.
• Experience leading ISO/IEC 17025 and/or AS9100 quality systems; Nadcap accreditation preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated, fast-paced environment with focus on risk, compliance, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand scope of accreditations, certifications, and approvals (ISO 17025, AS9100, Nadcap) including Prime and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Lead audits (internal, regulatory, customer, accreditation) and maintain audit readiness; manage NCRs and corrective actions.
• Oversee eQMS and Nadcap platforms; manage method/system audits and proficiency testing per schedules.
• Develop and maintain site QMS policies, procedures, and forms; drive process controls across lab operations.
• Lead cost-of-quality reduction initiatives and improve first-time-right performance.
• Produce quality performance metrics and corrective actions aligned to business goals.
