Northrop Grumman Marine Systems in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Manager Mission Assurance 2 to lead a team of quality and mission assurance professionals in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and hands-on shop floor presence to resolve issues.

You will drive RCCA, implement APQP/FMEAs, manage performance metrics, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS. A Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years in Quality, Mission Assurance, and Manufacturing.
• Experience leading technical teams through growth, change, or transitions.
• Experience with data analysis and problem solving in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 QMS and audits.
• Experience with cross-functional project leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers and mission assurance professionals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Global Supply Chain.
• Maintain shop-floor presence to coach on quality methods.
• Establish and report performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to QMS and conduct internal surveillances and audits.
• Drive RCCA and failure investigations for high-impact issues.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks using APQP, FMEAs, and early design engagement.
• Manage budgets and EACs; oversee Earned Value on programs.
