Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Aerospace Quality Manager in Long Beach, CA, to lead the quality function for pressure vessels, COPV tanks, and propulsion hardware supporting space and defense programs. You will ensure conformance to customer and regulatory requirements and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities include leading MRB, establishing inspection points, and performing SPC/FMEA analysis to improve KPIs. This is an on-site, senior role with a strong emphasis on quality leadership.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required (ITAR) and ability to obtain clearance.
• 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; CQE preferred.
• Knowledge of machining, heat-treat, welding, NDT.
• Strong blueprint and technical data interpretation; liaise with OEMs.
• Lean/process improvement experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality function for pressure vessels, COPV tanks, propulsion hardware.
• Ensure conformance to customer, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve on Material Review Board and disposition nonconforming hardware.
• Drive 5-why, fishbone, 8D CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Establish inspection points, approve routings, create control plans.
• Lead FMEAs, track KPIs, and perform SPC for QMS compliance.
