Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Assurance department in a permanent, on-site role in San Diego, CA. You will direct all QA activities to support the business unit and maintain compliance with AS9100 Rev D, FAA regulations, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting QMS metrics to leadership, conducting audits, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring supplier quality and metrology compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D quality systems and FAA regulations.
• Ability to solve problems while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Strong leadership and ability to work independently to manage projects.
• Internal auditor certification to AS9100 Rev D is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Reports Quality Management System metrics to leadership and VP of Quality.
• Maintains AS9100 Rev D compliance with customers and regulators.
• Identify customer and authority requirements and ensure compliance.
• Conduct audits and manage quality reviews.
• Promote continuous improvement and supplier quality.
• Oversee calibration and metrology of inspection tools.
• Report incidents, non-conformities and track corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Safran Quality community and auditors.
