Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests and sample preparation in Lancaster, CA. The role requires proficiency with certified procedures, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to quality processes.

You will work in a clean manufacturing environment on-site, with two shifts available and initial training on the first shift. The ideal candidate has aerospace experience, blueprinted reading skills, and experience using inspection tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Engineering background or related coursework preferred.
• Microreading experience and blueprint reading required.
• Aerospace experience required; fastener experience a plus.
• Ability to test cross-section, grain, thread flow, and hardness.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and prepare samples per certified procedures.
• Read instructions and documents, ensure routing sheets are accurate.
• Follow procedures to maintain quality of work.
• Process paperwork, ensuring routing sheets are complete and accurate.
• Use calipers and micrometers to verify product specs.
