Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking an Inspector in Orlando, FL to perform visual and dimensional inspection of electronic units, subsystems, and assemblies, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

The role involves using micrometers, dial indicators, fixtures and other measuring devices to detect defects and verify quality. You will reject or rework nonconforming parts and may monitor quality with statistical process controls as required, following customer specifications

Qualifications

• Uses predetermined methods and interpretations to inspect in-process and completed products.
• Reads blueprints and inspection instructions to verify quality.
• Monitors and verifies quality using statistical process control where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect visually and with measuring devices to identify defects.
• Accepts, rejects or reworks malfunctioning units per specifications.
• Works from blueprints, diagrams and checklists to ensure conformance.
