Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE in Torrance, CA is seeking a Quality Trainee to join our inspection and quality team. You will review parts for conformance, complete test reports, and help with material movement and calibration activities.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 0–1 year of clerical/operational experience. You will use precision measuring tools and read blueprints, with a 12-hour Fri-Sun shift starting at $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year of clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a lab, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and read blueprints.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect semi-finished components for conformance to specifications.
• Perform precision measurements and dimensional inspections.
• Assist in metallurgical tests and calibration activities.
• Read blueprints and ensure proper documentation on parts.
• Move parts and materials between departments and labs.
