Job summary

Ferra Aerospace in Rogers, AR is seeking Inspectors for the Quality Department to perform in-process and final inspections of machined aerospace parts and assemblies. You will document approvals and non-conformances, and support root-cause analysis and rework decisions.

The role requires basic CMM exposure, strong measurement skills, and the ability to read blueprints and engineering docs. On-site work and ITAR compliance are essential; a high school diploma and related training are required.

Qualifications

• A high School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• An associate degree or similar post-secondary or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of six (6) months of experience in inspection for machined parts and/or assemblies is required; aerospace industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines and utilizes inspection methods and instruments to complete in-process and final inspections.
• Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements.
• Supports process improvements to enhance inspection effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicates effectively with internal/external personnel to address errors and trends.
• May perform CMM inspections under supervision and training.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.
