Qualifications

• Familiarity with blueprints, workmanship standards, and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Determines and utilizes inspection methods and instruments for in-process and final inspections of machined parts and assemblies.
• Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements.
• Suggests process improvements to enhance inspection effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicates root causes and coordinates resolution of non-conforming parts and re-work needs.
• May perform CMM inspections under supervision; attends on-site as required.
