Verus Aerospace, LLC is seeking an Inspector to monitor and measure quality on close tolerance aerospace machined parts and assemblies. The role covers in-process, first article, and final dimensional inspection to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, verifying supplier certifications, recording results, and maintaining records. Proficiency with CMMs and SPC data is required, with aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of prior machine shop inspection experience.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T tolerancing.
• Interpretation and application of aerospace/customer specifications.
• Demonstrated accuracy in setup and use of measuring devices.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Aufgaben

• Inspect parts and assemblies to verify drawing requirements.
• Inspect work of outside processors and purchased parts.
• Verify documentation is present and compliant.
• Record inspection results in written records and computer databases.
• Maintain historical and summary records; notify appropriate parties.
• Visual inspection of complex machined parts and vendor certifications.
• Write non-conformance rejection tags.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine and measuring equipment.
• Capture and interpret SPC and sampling data.
• Review FAI documentation and coordinate corrective actions.
