Jonaco Machine, LLC in Minnesota is seeking experienced and highly qualified quality inspectors to join our team. The mechanical inspector ensures machined parts meet internal and customer quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

This role involves inspecting components during various stages of production to detect deviations from specifications and prevent defects from continuing downstream.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years in aerospace manufacturing quality control.
• Proficient with precision instruments, GD&T, and blueprint reading.
• Familiar with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components.
• Verify parts meet drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Monitor in-process controls and data collection during machining.
• Document inspection results per QMS.
• Identify non-conformances and document them per procedures.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, quality staff to resolve issues.
• Ensure measurement tools are calibrated and maintained.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability.
• Support audits and communication with teams.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
