Job summary

Applied Aerospace in Billerica, MA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to assess in-process and final components for adherence to customer specifications and to release cylindrical parts.

Responsibilities include using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and CMMs, reading drawings and GD&T, performing both destructive and nondestructive tests as needed, maintaining safety standards and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required; relevant aerospace QA experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in Quality and Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing with precision inspection experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen/U.S. Person due to ITAR/EAR-regulated data.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically inspect machine components using precision measuring tools.
• Set up inspection equipment for shop floor use.
• Sample in-process components to verify engineering specs.
