Zusammenfassung

Leidos is seeking a Quality Inspector for its Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility to ensure machined components meet drawings, specs, and procedures. You will support documentation, root cause investigations, and non-conformance tracking for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include inspecting components, compiling data packages, and preparing AS9102 reports, with travel to customer sites as needed. Requires ISO9001/AS9100 experience and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience using micrometers, height gauges, gage blocks, radius gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a resident of the Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs - Monument - Pueblo, CO area.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Security Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Inspect machined components and assemblies.
• Identify and document nonconformance and support root cause analysis investigations.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical documents (drawings, specifications, test procedures, etc.)
• Create and compile acceptance data packages for customer approval of build assets.
• Prepare and maintain AS9102 reports, inspection records, quality documentation, and discrepancy reports.
• Operate standard inspection and measuring equipment, CMMs, and GOM Scanning Equipment against tight tolerances utilizing GD&T and embedded model dimensioning.
• Participate in, and provide necessary support of corrective actions, documentation control, calibration, and receiving inspection.
