Job summary

Relativity Space in Florida is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of production hardware using CAD models, drawings, and work orders. You will determine pass/fail, document results, and provide guidance to resolve issues on a fast-paced aerospace program at Cape Canaveral.

You will read engineering drawings, support root-cause analysis, and collaborate across Test, Manufacturing, and Hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality inspections in aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with in-process build inspections using precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Provide technical guidance based on inspection requirements and standards.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in extended shifts.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed in-process and final inspections of production hardware using CAD models, drawings, and work orders.
• Review hardware requirements, determine pass/fail, and document results and deviations.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure procedures and standards are met.
• Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Hardware teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct inspections, analyze findings, and assist with corrective actions.
