Job summary

Aether Aerospace, a defense technology platform, seeks a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Hollywood, MD. The role ensures conformance to ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D across manufacturing processes, with hands-on inspection of materials, in-process parts, and finished goods.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in quality inspection, HS/GED, and experience with CMMs and inspection arms. Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauging fixtures is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and document inspections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products for conformance.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and fixtures for measurements.
• Operate CMM and Inspection Arm/Scanner for complex parts inspections.
• Document results and generate detailed inspection reports and data analyses.
• Collaborate with QA to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
