Job summary

Express Employment is seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Inspector for an aerospace manufacturing team. The role ensures aerospace parts meet drawings, specs, and quality standards.

You will identify nonconforming materials, document results, and assist with quality initiatives to ensure safe, reliable components. Responsibilities include in-process, final, and receiving inspections, interpretation of drawings and PO specs, use of calipers and ultrasonic gauges, and maintaining traceability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and ultrasonic gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections of aerospace components.
• Interpret and verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, height gauges, ultrasonic gauges, and related inspection tools.
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production, engineering, and management.
• Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action investigations as needed.
• Maintain traceability of materials, parts, and documentation throughout manufacturing.
• Keep a clean, organized, and audit-ready inspection work area.
